Privacy policy
We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed).
- Rental data: driver license number, license expiry, country, vehicle, dates, pickup/return photos, mileage, fuel level.
- Payment data: payment-provider token, last 4 of card. We never store full card numbers.
- Communications: emails and SMS we exchange with you about your bookings.
How we use it
- To create and manage your reservation.
- To verify you're an eligible driver at pickup.
- To process payments and refunds.
- To send transactional notifications (confirmation, pickup reminder, overdue notice).
- For fraud prevention and insurance claims if damage occurs.
Who we share it with
- Our payment processor (card data only).
- Our email / SMS provider (your email / phone and the message content).
- Law enforcement when legally required.
- Our insurance provider in the event of a claim.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
Your rights
- Request a copy of all data we hold on you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data (we retain rental records as legally required for accounting purposes).
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Cookies
We use a session cookie (strictly necessary) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.
Data retention
Rental records are kept for 7 years for accounting and legal reasons. Account profiles are kept until you request deletion. Pickup/return photos are kept for 1 year after the rental closes.

Insurance partner
Coverage, when selected, is underwritten by the insurance partner shown on your rental agreement. Terms, exclusions, and claim procedures are detailed on that agreement.

We may update this page from time to time. Material changes will be notified to all active-account customers by email. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
